Privacy Policy
Effective 3 September 2026 · Native Android exam apps
This policy covers Permis Belge Théorie B (net.mydrivingtest.belgiumtheory), Τεστ ΚΟΚ Ελλάδας (net.mydrivingtest.greekkok), Irish DTT Bus & Truck (net.mydrivingtest.irishbustruck) Test Permiso B España (net.mydrivingtest.spainpermisob), Autotheorie Schweiz (net.mydrivingtest.swisstheory) and 737 Type Rating Exam Prep (net.mydrivingtest.type737prep). Information stored on your device
The apps store study preferences, selected language, bookmarks, progress, answers, exam history, session-resume information and access status in private Android app storage. Available controls differ by app. Android backup or device-transfer services may copy eligible local app data according to your device settings. Autotheorie Schweiz and 737 Type Rating Exam Prep disable Android cloud backup in their app configuration; device-to-device transfer behavior can depend on the Android version and device manufacturer. The apps do not require an app account and do not operate a cloud-sync account service.
Usage and diagnostics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app use and improve the study experience. App events may include onboarding completion, language and practice mode, question and selection counts, answer correctness, aggregate exam results, timeout status, paywall interactions and purchase or restore events. We do not put question text, answer text, payment-card details or purchase tokens in our custom analytics events.
For Autotheorie Schweiz and 737 Type Rating Exam Prep, custom study events record onboarding, session and answer-submission actions, practice mode, and limited question-count or language information. Their custom study events do not send selected answers, answer correctness or question text. Purchase and restore interactions, product or premium-access status, and content-load failures may also be recorded.
Firebase may automatically process app-instance or installation identifiers, sessions, device and app information, approximate location derived from network information, and purchase-related product and price information. Firebase Crashlytics processes crash reports, stack traces and diagnostic device/app information. Firebase Remote Config processes installation and app/device configuration information to deliver operational settings. Crash reports may include Analytics breadcrumbs and active Remote Config rollout settings.
Purchases
Google Play Billing handles the purchase options offered in each app. 737 Type Rating Exam Prep offers lifetime access; the other apps may offer subscriptions and lifetime access. The apps process product identifiers, purchase tokens, acknowledgement and ownership status to grant and restore access. We do not receive your payment-card number. Google Play keeps its own purchase records. Uninstalling an app does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions and refund requests through Google Play.
Advertising and permissions
The apps do not display advertising. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation consent are denied. Ordinary usage analytics and crash reporting remain enabled. The apps do not request contacts, microphone, camera or precise-location access for study or purchase features. Where reminders are offered, notification permission only controls device reminders.
Purposes and legal grounds
We process purchase and access information to perform the service you request, diagnostics and limited usage measurements for our legitimate interests in security, reliability and product improvement, and records where required by law. Where local law requires consent for a particular measurement, we will request it or disable that measurement. We do not sell personal information or use app data for targeted advertising.
Sharing and international processing
Google provides Firebase and Google Play services and processes information for us or under its own service responsibilities. Information may be processed outside your country. Google describes its safeguards and data-transfer terms in its Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms and Privacy Policy. We may disclose information if legally required or to protect users and the service.
Retention and security
Local study data remains until you clear it, clear app storage or remove it through an available in-app control; device backups may retain an earlier copy according to your settings. For Greek, Spain and Ireland, the inspected Analytics property retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months; aggregate reports may remain longer. Crash, installation, Remote Config and Google Play records follow the relevant provider retention rules. We keep our own necessary purchase-access records only as long as needed for access, dispute, fraud-prevention and legal obligations. Data is protected in transit by the providers and local app data is protected by Android app isolation, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can clear local app data through Android settings, manage backups in your device/account settings and manage purchases in Google Play. Clearing local data does not erase information already sent to Firebase or records held by Google Play. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, or complain to a data-protection authority. Email us with the app name and request details; do not send passwords, card numbers or authentication tokens. We may need limited information to verify and fulfil a request.
Children
These exam-preparation apps are intended for people aged 16 or older and are not designed for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 16. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy when app features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change when a revision is published.
